GMRE is seeking a Sr. Configuration Manager who will be responsible for the control of all software, hardware, system, and network configurations.


  • Identify, map, account for, and record all network and information processing system components, devices, hardware configurations.
  • Ensure blueprints for unclassified and classified computers are accurately depicting approved configurations.
  • Organize and support all configuration management activities, including but not limited to the following activities:
  • Configuration identification, weapon system equipment management, release management, change control, and configuration audits.
  • Ensures changes are approved and processed.
  • Drafts and edits configuration management policies for hardware and software.
  • Supports customers with developing requirements and project scope.
  • Participates in the Configuration Control Board (CCB), to include:
  • Draft agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Coordinating, scheduling, and facilitation of meetings.
  • Distributes, manages, tracks, and accounts for all software applications in accordance with licensing and maintenance agreements.
  • Develops and maintains database documentation displaying network, system locations, and serial numbers for network security accreditation and ensures systems are in compliance with established DoD and AF policies and directives.
  • Participates in operations assessment of existing and future facility requirements relating to impacts on weapon system and network infrastructure and communications-computer systems.


  • Minimum of five years’ experience in maintaining hardware and software configurations, hardware accountability, software and hardware licensing, and maintenance agreement terminology.
  • Experience with PDM software/tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience solving complex problems and communicating effective solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with DCGS policies and procedures.
  • Experience utilizing DoD Instruction(s), Unique Service Instructions, Military Handbooks, Commercial Specifications and Policies/Procedures and Reference Documents, as required to perform the work.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have a U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
